About

Arkwright Engineering Scholar

I'm a student and open-source hardware maker based in Northern Ireland, building ultra-low-power embedded IoT systems for real-world energy monitoring problems.

My current focus is the AZ SensorSuite — a coin-cell BLE sensor node targeting Class E SME building energy waste. Everything I build is open-source, designed to be understandable, repairable, and manufacturable on a tight budget.

I care about honest hardware: transparent BOM costs, real power numbers, and designs that don't hide their tradeoffs.
